Accident on Highway 80 Near Kingvale

The Highway Patrol is still trying to figure out why a driver lost control of his car in a fatal crash in eastern Nevada County. CHP Officer Pete Mann says 44 year-old Edwin Shuler of Modesto was driving Eastbound on Highway 80 past Kingvale at about 65 miles an hour yesterday morning, and drifted onto the median.

Mann says alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
