I-80 Gold Run Crash Kills One Injures Three

Schmidt says the driver was reportedly drowsy and drifted off the right side of the highway, crashing into a couple of trees, with the pickup ending up on its side…

Schmidt says the fatality was a man from Antioch, which is in the Bay Area. The other three occupants were family members. No names were available. He says they were apparently heading to North Star to ski. There was no indication of alcohol or drugs.
