Accident on Highway 49 Cleared

An accident on the Golden Center Freeway at Brunswick Road caused some traffic tie-ups, and minor injuries to a motorcyclist. Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Dina Hernandez says the driver was heading northbound on the freeway, and failed to slow down in time…

Hernandez says the motorcyclist, who is a juvenile, was ejected, but only suffered minor injuries. Traffic was congested in the area between the Brunswick and Ridge Road exits. Fire, CHP, and law enforcement all responded to the call. The accident happened shortly before 1pm.
