Accident Snarls Traffic on SB Highway 49 through Grass Valley

A traffic accident on Southbound Highway 49 through Grass valley snarled traffic for over an hour Wednesday afternoon. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says multiple calls came in right after the accident occurred.

Tassone says the motorcycle rider was extremely lucky regarding the severity of the accident.

Traffic controls were in place for over an hour while the scene was cleared.
the accident remains under investigation.
