Afternoon Accident on Old Rough and Ready Highway

An accident on Old Rough and ready Highway just north of Highway 20 occurring just after 1:00 PM Monday. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says the call came in reporting a jeep in a collision.*

Tassone says it appears to only involve the one vehicle, but it took  a little while to clear the roadway of the vehicle and the spill.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
