Agriculture Production Down In Nevada County

Agriculture production in Nevada County is down from a year ago. The annual report says the gross value for 2014 was 23-point-2 million dollars, up just one-percent from 2013. 14-point-1 million of the 23-point-2 million dollar total was attributed to livestock and poultry, which is the top category. That was followed by pasture and rangeland, with timber products, fruit and nut crops, and vegetable crops rounding out the top five.
