Airman’s Death Still Under Investigation

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit has decided to take a closer look at the circumstances surrounding the death of a Beale Airforce Base airman at her off base residence in Penn Valley.  Forty-One-year-old Master Sgt. Rachel Bell was found dead at her Lake Wildwood residence Monday evening.  Nevada County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Tripp says they have received some new information and decided they needed to take a closer look.

Master Sgt. Bell was assigned to the 9th Operations Support Squadron as the superintendent of the intelligence section. Her home of record is Chico, California.
Another Beale Airman was found dead in his residence in Yuba City on April 5th, but Lt. Tripp says they have found no connection between the cases.
