Alcohol May Be Contributing Factor In Collison With Trees

A suspected drunk driver lost control of his pickup and crashed into several trees, Tuesday afternoon. CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse says the accident happened just before five in the evening. A 64 year old Grass Valley man was northbound on the freeway when his 2009 Ford pickup left the road and crashed head on into several trees near the Sacramento Street over-cross.

The driver of the pickup was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for suspicion of driving under the influence.
