Alleged Attacker Of Girl Ruled Incompetent

The man arrested about 8 months ago for grabbing and terrorizing a 10-year-old girl at a Grass Valley park has been ruled to be mentally incompetent to stand trial. That’s the ruling from Nevada County Judge Linda Sloven regarding Christian Stevens, 45 at the time of his arrest. Assistant County D-A Jim Turner says Stevens had also demanded to testify at the hearing, which was held a few weeks ago…

The incident took place at Condon Park and the girl was able to break free, by hitting the suspect with her trumpet case.
