A possible domestic violence situation ended with a Cedar Ridge man in custody for drug possession. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says officer were called to a home on Cedar Ridge Drive late Sunday night to a reported domestic dispute. Deputies found that 34 year old Harold Mason was involved in the fight. When deputies called him out of the closet he was hiding in, they also found he was on search and seizure probation. Sheriff Royal says suspected meth amphetamine was found in his wallet.

Sheriff Royal says deputies found a quantity of meth in a back pack alone with scales and over five thousand dollars in cash. Mason was taken into custody for suspicion of possession and sales of meth amphetamine and violation of probation.
