Almost 30 Dogs Rescued In One Location

Concerned residents prompted Sheriff’s Deputies and Animal Control to go to a home off Cruzon Grade near North San Juan. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says an officer went to the home on Bear Trap Springs Road on Saturday. The property owner had over thirty dogs with no food. At that time, animal control officers seized twenty six of the animals.
