Amgen Bicycle Race Needs Volunteers in Auburn

The 2014 Amgen Bicycle race is scheduled to come through Auburn on May 11th and the City is still looking for volunteers to assist with a number of duties on race day. The Auburn Police Department are in charge of recruiting and deploying volunteers. Lt. Victor Pecoraro says that another 15-20 volunteers would be extremely helpful.

Volunteers will help with set-up, crowd control, and course breakdown. Answering general questions about the event and logistics is also expected. Volunteers will have a front row seat as the world class cyclists come through town.
