Animal Save Fundraiser this Weekend

The local non-profit Animal Save, rescuing animals in our area, is having a fund raiser this weekend for the animals. Cartoonist and artist Ron Rodecker is inviting animals lovers to his Nevada City home and art studio for an opportunity to view and buy his art from the long running PBS Series Dragon Tales as well as his other art with a portion of the proceeds going to Animal Save. Linda Burbridge with Animal Save says Rodecker loves animals and supports animals save and welcomes you to his home and gardens for a weekend of art, auction and refreshments Saturday and Sunday (May 5th and 6th) from 1 to 5pm.

There will also be entertainment and light refreshments Ron will draw free pictures for children who attend. 25% of sales will be donated to Animal Save to support its Low-cost spay and Neuter clinic. for more information you can call Carolyn at 271-7071 ex 201 or call Linda at 272-6225 for directions to Rodecker’s Nevada city studio on Climbing Way.
