Memorial Day Weekend!!!!!

Once again Americans will gather to have the official first barbecue of the summer this weekend.   Brats will be roasted.  Burgers will be seared.  Steaks and chops will be marinated.  Beverages will be quaffed.  Fun will be had by all.

Monday will dawn not to the jarring sound of the alarm clock.  You won’t be faced with the start of the work week.  You might be lucky enough to sleep late.  To awake to the sounds of the birds singing sweetly, or your kids playing quietly.  The way we all would like to wake up.

I only hope and pray that each of us take an least a minute to stop.  Think about the reason is for this long weekend.  Who payed the ultimate price.
