Another Broken Motorcycle Leads To Arrest

A malfunctioning motorcycle led to the arrest of a suspect in Penn Valley by the CHP over the weekend. On Monday afternoon, another broken motorcycle led to the arrest of a suspect in Grass Valley. Grass Valley Police Sgt Joe Matteoni says an officer stopped to assist a man with a broken motorcycle at Brunswick and  Idaho Maryland Road around 2:40 PM.

Forbes,-Robert1When the officer inquired about the mismatched license plate, the suspect, Robert Forbes had interesting answers.

The officer learned that Forbes was on parole and conducted a search after the suspect admitted he was in possession of marijuana.

The officers are still trying to locate the original owner of the bike to establish whether or not it is stolen.
