For the second time in two weeks, another transient gang member has been arrested for a violent crime in Grass Valley. Bates says Baldwin, considered a transient, took a number of personal possessions from the victim, including cash and some electronic items, such as a cell phone. Charges include participation in a criminal street gang, which is based outside the area. In addition to felony robbery, charges against Baldwin include a minor in possession of alcohol and possession of a minor amount of drugs, both misdemeanors. The female suspect has not been arrested yet.
