Another Honor For Jim Drew

A man with one of the strongest links to Nevada County agriculture has received another honor. Jim Drew, a retired agriculture teacher in the Nevada Joint Union High School District, has been inducted into California’s FFA Hall of Fame. Linda Melugin, the district’s Scholarship Fund Coordinator, mentioned the honor on “KNCO: Insight” earlier this week. She says it came as a surprise but is well-deserved…

Drew remains very active. He’s also a member of the District School Board. He’s also served on the Resource Conservation and Livestock Producers Boards. Melugin says he continues to have an impact on local agricultural youth…

Drew is also a member of the Nevada County Fairgrounds Hall of Fame. And his son, Patrick Eidman, is the Fairgrounds CEO.
