Another Successful Year For SNMH Foundation

The unprecedented effects of COVD-19 have made philanthropy and support of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital more important than ever. But Hospital Foundation Executive Director, Kimberly Parker, says they’ve been able to quickly pivot, in order to ensure that the most important needs are fulfilled. It started, at the beginning of the pandemic, with making sure there was adequate Personal Protective Equipment and related supplies and the public has really stepped up…

Parker says food and supply donations have been regularly dropped off and over 28-thousand dollars in donations have been made through the hospital’s COVID Relief Fund. In addition, she says they concluded a campaign to raise two-million dollars for a much-needed transformation of the hospital’s emergency department…

The Foundation has also been able to continue to provide needed resources to the community, including their “Read Me A Story” and Alzheimer’s Outreach programs.
