Another set of felons arrested by Truckee CHP following a traffic stop. Officer Michael McDonnell says this time a car with two people pulled over for speeding on Eastbound 80 just past the Hirshdale Road exit. As the officer was making contact he noticed a modification to the vehicles interior.

A records check found both occupants, J Diggs and David Gutierrez, were both ex-felons. So both were taken in to custody. Diggs went relatively easily, but Gutierrez had different ideas.

Gutierrez was also found to be in possession of 3 grams of heroin.
J Diggs was eventually booked for being an ex-felon in possession of a loaded firearm and related charges. David Gutierrez was booked for vandalism, resisting arrest, and possession of heroin.
