Another Virtual Night Of Giving Still Does Well

Another virtual Night of Giving for the second straight year, because of pandemic concerns, still garnered a lot of enthusiasm. Attendees, on December 18th , were invited to stay home, get cozy, and stream the 22-minute event on the Hospitality House website or Facebook page. The first virtual Night of Giving, which featured a streaming of about three hours of entertainment, raised around 66-thousand dollars. It was 77-thousand from the last traditional in-person event, in 2019. It began 16 years ago. and Schwanke says the need is more critical than ever…

With the spike in homelessness from the pandemic, Hospitality House has been operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
