Apparent Homicide in Penn Valley Area

An apparent homicide in the Penn Valley area. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says that a call came in about 1:00 AM Monday and deputies responded to a Good Enough Court address. Deputies responded to the area but were unable to locate any shooting activity. However a second call came in from a the original caller.

There was a large greenhouse where suspected marijuana was being grown. The Sheriff’s office following up on the incident.

The victim has been identified as Issac Zafft a 27 year old transient originally from Minnesota. Anyone with information about the series of events is urged to contact the sheriff’s office.
