Argument Over Trailer Leads to Arrest

An argument over the possession of a trailer on Greenhorn Road led to a physical confrontation and an eventual arrest. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says deputies responding to the report of a trailer being stolen, came upon a trailer being towed from the area.

Nelson,-Hallie1The woman driving the vehicle was identified as 38 year old Hallie Nelson of Nevada City. Deputies began to unravel the stories from both victim and the suspect.

Because of the confusion over who actually owned the trailer, no theft charges were filed. However, Nelson did have a felony warrant for her arrest and was taken into custody.
