Arrest Made in Auburn Burglaries

Auburn Police have made an arrest in a case involving a series of burglaries around the city. Officials say 27 year-old Thomas Woodhouse of Auburn was arrested around 6 o’clock Tuesday morning at an apartment complex. While following up on leads, officers found a vehicle that was involved in the burglaries, and after watching the vehicle, saw Woodhouse get in and drive off. Woodhouse looked like the suspect in surveillance video, so he was stopped. Police say there had been at least seven residential burglaries since July 25th, and many more over the last several weeks. Woodhouse was booked into the Placer County Jail on charges of burglary and possession of stolen property.
