Arrest Made In Gas Station Robbery

An arrest has been made regarding a Halloween day robbery at a Grass Valley gas station. Police Sergeant Brian Blakemore says 29-year-old Thomas Hale, a transient from Auburn, was arrested Halloween night by a Placer County Sheriff’s deputy who used to work for Nevada County…

Blakemore says clothing that the suspect was seen wearing during the robbery was also found in the car. Hale is accused of grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash from the register at the Flyers station, on Sutton Way near Brunswick Road….

Blakemore says a small, personal amount of heroin was also found with Hale. A woman who was also in the car was detained but has not been charged at this time.
