If you are looking for a way to support families in Nevada County and are interested in art- the Partners Family Resource Centers are hosting an event that will interest you. Countywide Coordinator for the Family Resource Centers, Kristen McGrew, says the event benefits local resource centers.

The event is Thursday from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley. McGrew says that the art is mainly children’s work, but it is more than what you would simply hang on your refrigerator.

Most of the pieces are painting and drawings however there are some jewelry pieces as well.
Tickets for the event are 20 dollars per person or 30 dollars for a couple and the price includes appetizers and coffee as well as access to the auction. A no-host beer and wine bar is also available if that helps loosen your purse strings.
