It was a beautiful day at the Cal-Fire/Higgins Fire Department in the south county on Saturday. I took my boys to see the demonstrations, the helicopter and jaws of life were their favorites. A presentation on the facts of Measure B, the fire tax assessment, on the June ballot for south county voters was well received. Thank you to the LOP fire wise council for providing lunch to the many in attendance as well as the firefighters and law enforcement on hand.
