Grass Valley Woman Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit

A romantic dispute turned into a high-speed chase in Grass Valley after a woman was caught driving a friend’s truck, leading to four felony charges.
Some sort of romantic triangle was the apparent spark behind a Grass Valley woman reportedly leading police on a vehicle pursuit over the past weekend. Lieutenant Brian Blakemore says it started Friday night when an officer pulled over 39-year-old Tichelle Traylor in a pickup. He says Traylor received a warning about an expired registration. Blakemore says she had agreed to drive the pickup back to the owner of the pickup. But later that night, he says Traylor was spotted still driving it and was pulled over again on Adams Avenue…
Blakemore says Traylor ultimately sped off at a high rate of speed, including onto Squirrel Creek Road. She stopped on South School Street, where she was arrested. He says it turns out that the pickup belonged to another female friend of the man whom Traylor had referred to earlier…
So Blakemore says Traylor was booked on four felony charges, including reckless evasion and vehicle theft.
