ASPCA Helps Sammie’s Fiends With Large Animal Grants

The ASPCA came to the assistance of Sammie’s Friends Animal Shelter in order to help care for over 18 large animals including a number of horses and donkeys that were suffering from neglect and abuse. The ASPCA provided two grants to Sammie’s Friends. According to grant writer Michelle McKenzie, 3500 dollars went towards medical treatment.

A 1500 dollar grant went to purchase different grasses and feed for the recovering animals.
