Attempted Kidnapping Reported in South County

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man who reportedly tried to abduct a six year-old girl. Sheriff Keith Royal says the department got a call from a home on Knolls Drive in the southern part of the county Friday afternoon…

The vehicle was originally described as a black Toyota Forerunner, but could be a dark-colored van. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department. Parents are urged to tell their kids not to talk to, or get in a car with, strangers.
