Attempted Murder Suspect Found Competent

A 68-year-old Grass Valley man has now been found competent to face attempted murder charges against him. Assistant Nevada County District Attorney Chris Walsh says Eugene Maravel is accused of stabbing two men at their North School Street home, in August. Walsh says Maravel suspected the victims of stealing from him. The victims were stabbed in the stomach and back but were expected to make a full recovery.
