Attempted Robbery Turns into Stabbing

A man waiting for a bus was attacked and stabbed while a suspect attempted to steal his wallet. Shortly before 7:00 PM Tuesday the victim was waiting for a bus in a Sutton Way shopping area. Grass valley Police Lt Alex Gammelgard says the victim was approached by a white male in his 50s.

As the victim attempted to leave the bus stop, the suspect attacked.

Law enforcement continue to search for the suspect. Anyone with any knowledge of the event is urged to contact the Grass Valley Police.
