As a result, Judge Ersel Edwards will hear arguments on July 23 to make an initial ruling to either increase access via contact visits or to allow the Sheriff to continue to operate attorney visits in the current manner.

Defense attorneys Greg Klein and Steven Munkelt have been most vocal about their concerns. Klein submitted a letter of complaint to the sheriff in April.
