Attorney’s in Court today on Terry Lamphier Trial

Attorney’s for former Supervisor Terry Lamphier and the District Attorney’s office were in court this morning for what was supposed to be a pre-trial conference.  But defense attorney, Steven Munkelt, asked the court for more time for discovery, according to District Attorney Cliff Newell.

The request was granted by the court over objections from the Deputy D.A.

The two parties will meet again in court on November 17th to pick a date for trial and to make sure the defense is getting their discovery appropriately. Terry Lamphier has been charged with two counts of possessing material depicting minors in sexual conduct. The case has been ongoing since October of 2014.
