Auburn Arrests Follow Traffic Stop and Run

Two men are under arrest after police found a loaded gun and dangerous drugs in their car. Auburn Police Lieutenant Victor Pecarero says an officer stopped a car Friday evening on Lincoln Way. When the officer tried to speak with the driver, 33 year old Lucas Storm, the driver pushed the officer and took of running. Officers caught Storm and after a struggle took him into custody.

Officers found Sean Isaacks seated in the passenger side of the car. A search of Issac revealed methamphetamine and a switch blade . Officers discovered the driver Storm had a warrant for his arrest from Summit County Utah for burglary. Both men were booked into the Placer County jail.
