Auburn Firm Partners with Ford

An Auburn firm is partnering with Ford Motor Company to provide safety features for police vehicles. Intermotive Vehicle Controls manufactures a safety feature that warns officers in parked police cars of anyone approaching from the rear of the vehicle.

The tool, referred to as Surveillance Mode, allows officers to protect themselves when seated in the vehicle by accessing existing safety features.

Surveillance mode is available for the 2014 Ford Police Interceptor sedan and utility vehicle and will cost approximately 500.00 installed.
