Auburn Man Arrested For Assaulting Woman

Auburn Police have arrested a man for striking a woman with a rock. Officials say they got a report yesterday afternoon of a physical fight between two women. After the fight 59 year-old Eduardo Reyes, whose girlfriend was one of the two women, picked up a rock, and struck the other woman several times in the head. Reyes was booked into the Placer County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. He was released today after posting 25-thousand dollars bail.
