Auburn Officer Honored by MADD

An Auburn Police officer was recently honored for his commitment to DUI enforcement by a statewide organization. Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, at an awards dinner in Sacramento on June 1, honored Officer Chris Forman with the MADD California Hero Award. Auburn Police Lieutenant Victor Pecoraro says the award was well deserved.

Pecoraro also noted that Forman not only led the department in Drug and Alcohol related arrests, he holds credentials that recognize his expertise in training and support in the DUI enforcement arena.

Officer Chris Forman has spent a number of years as both a motorcycle traffic enforcement officer as well as normal patrol officer making over 7000 traffic stops over the past eight years.
