Auburn Quilt Show this Weekend

The Foothill Quilters Guild is putting on their 32nd Annual Quilt Show this weekend It is called “Glorious Foothill Flowers” and will feature 250 quilts on display in the Armory Building at the Auburn Fairgrounds.  Show organizer, Vicki Martin says the featured Quilter this year is Lynn Tubbe  who will have many flower-themed quilts on display.

And a special guest at the show is Nevada County’s own Velda Newman, an internationally recognized contemporary quilt artist and author who is known for her large scale, mostly organic designs.

The Foothill Quilters Guild Show is Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 10-4 at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn. Admission is $7 and parking is free.
