Back to Business at the Rood Center

With the reopening of California on June 15 officially kicking off the summer, Nevada County residents can expect things to return to what resemble pre-pandemic conditions at county government facilities. Public Information Officer Taylor Wolfe says one difference will be that staff at the Rood Center will continue to where masks, but visitor’s requirements are on the merit system.

The County will be following CDC, State, and CALOSHA guidelines regarding masks in the workplace. Wolfe says one of the biggest changes will be the continuation of public events such as the Library event in conjunction with Office of Emergency Services supporting public safety.
