Back to School Immunization Clinic Thursday

The Nevada County Public Health Department’s Immunization Program is offering a special Vaccination Clinic at the Grass Valley Veteran’s Hall on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 1pm-4pm. The clinic will be located on the lower level of the hall.
This clinic will offer ALL childhood immunizations for anyone who is eligible for the Vaccines for Children Program.
Additionally, the Tdap shot for all incoming 7th graders, as well as the MMR shot will be available for $10 per shot regardless of insurance or eligibility.
*****VFC Eligibility Requirements: Must meet one of the following:
• Eligible for MediCal Insurance
• Uninsured
• Native American or Alaskan Native descent
• Current insurance plan does not cover vaccines.
Please bring immunization records with you.
In the TRUCKEE area, Back-to-School vaccines are available each week at the Public Health Clinic at the following times:
• Wednesdays from 9:30-Noon by appointment;
• The first Thursday of each month from 1pm-4pm, no appointment necessary.
The same eligibility requirements apply to these clinics as well.
