Ballot Propositions Forum At Peace Lutheran Church

A “Pros and Cons Ballot Measures Presentation” is happening Saturday morning. It’s being put on by the Western Nevada County chapter of the League of Women Voters. Chapter President Joann Marie says they’ll feature all 17 state propositions, plus the 3 local ones, that’ll be on the November 8th ballot…

A question and answer session will follow, after all the measures are presented. And it wasn’t too difficult for Marie to speculate on which ones will likely attract the most attention…

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The presentation starts at 10am tomorrow (Sat.) at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley and is expected to last about 2 hours.
