However, Sjoberg says that law changes next year. Governor Brown has signed legislation that allows ballot selfies, but that law doesn’t go into effect until January first, although the next election isn’t for another two years. Speaking of participation, early voting continues. In addition to normal business hours, the Elections Office at the Rood Center will be open from 9am to 4pm on Saturday.
