Nevada City Police continue to investigate a bank robbery at the Tri-Counties Bank branch a couple of weeks ago. Security camera video shows a white male, about 35 to 40 years of age going from teller to teller and demanding cash. Nevada City Police Chief Tim Foley says they’ve gotten lots of tips from the public…
Foley says they are also awaiting some results from their own investigation…
Foley says the suspect was about 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, and was reportedly wearing a blue button-down collared shirt, possibly a San Francisco Giants ball cap, sunglasses and a painter’s mask. There was a distinguishing mark in his hair. The thief got away with over 13-thousand dollars in cash from that robbery just before 1pm on June 17.
