Banner Mountain Murder Trial Going Forward

Two defendants in a Nevada County murder will be going to trial sooner than they had hoped. District Attorney, Cliff Newell, tells KNCO that shortly after 5:oo p.m. on Friday August 15, 2014, a specially impaneled Grand Jury found an indictment for Scott Thomas Hollingshead and Christopher Michael Nix for murder and shooting at an occupied vehicle. That incident involved the murder of 41 year-old Brian Spaulding on Banner Mountain on April 14.
