April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and one local organization is planning a special event to raise awareness to the topic. The PARTNERS Family Resource Center is organizing a Flash Mob that will take place the last weekend in April. Organizer, Karen Wallack-Eisen, says its a fun way to bring awareness to the community and celebrate families.

If you are interested in supporting the cause, there are three Saturday rehearsals on April 6, 13, and 20. Rehearsals are from 10-noon at the Sierra Dance Institute on Main St in Grass Valley.
