Beale Deactivating Reserve Squadron

Over 200 civilians and reservists will be out of work later this year at Beale Air Force Base The U-S Government has announced it will be deactivating the 13th Reconnaissance Squadron in September. The Global Hawk mission will continue at the base, but only with active duty personnel. Simms estimates the economic loss of the 13th Reconnaissance Squadron deactivation at about 11 million dollars.
