Bear River 14 Ripon 7

The Bear River Bruins have reached the Sac-Joaquin Division V section title game as they defeated the Ripon Indians 14-7 Friday night.  The Bruins used their bruising defense to force two Indian fumbles that they turned into touchdown to get the win before a large crowd at Ramsey Stadium.  The Bear River touchdowns were scored by Austin Baze and Travis Carpenter.  Bear River will try the Division V championship game against their biggest rival, the Colfax Falcons, who defeated Sonora 56-55 in a wild shootout at Sonora.  The title game will kickoff Saturday, November 25th at Cosumnes Oaks High School at 1pm.
