Bear River – 27 Foothill – 6

The Bear River Bruins got their first win in the Pioneer Valley League, defeating the Mustangs of Foothill High 27-6.  The Bruins scored 20 unanswered points in the second half to break open the game on a soggy Ramsey Stadium field.  Peyton Turner led the Bruins offense with 145 rushing yards.  The Bruins hit the road next Friday as they face their biggest rival, the Colfax Falcons in a key PVL contest.
