Bear River 35 Center 27

The Bear River Bruins needed overtime to get a 35-27 win over the Center Cougars to get their second win in the Pioneer Valley League and an anticipated trip to the Sac-Joaquin Section Football playoffs next week.  The Bruins were led by senior Austin Baze who ran for over 170 yards, four touchdowns, including the winning score in overtime to get the Bruins to 7-3 overall and 2-4 in the PVL.  The Bruins will open the playoff next Thursday night in Sacramento against Capital Christian.  The game will be played on Thursday since Veteran’s Day will be celebrated by high schools in the section on Friday.
