Bear River Teacher Honored by Stanford University

A Bear River High School teacher was surprised by his principal and honored by a former student and Stanford University Friday afternoon. History teacher, Dave Morehouse was nominated by former student Jen Meylor who now attends Stanford University. Jen was asked to nominate a teacher that was an inspiration to her. Stanford University recognizes outstanding teachers through the Teacher Tribute Initiative. Principal Jim Nieto explains the award.

Mr. Nieto presented the award at a staff collaboration meeting Friday afternoon.
The Bear River High School community is exceptionally proud of both Mr. Morehouse and Jen Meylor.
